MISSION: To restore hope to Greene County Families in crisis by providing essential household goods and furniture. |
The Restoration Depot is a ministry of Asbury United Methodist Church and will serve families in crisis in Greene Country. The depot will provide essential building materials, furniture, appliances, and various household items to families free of charge.
This ministry is a volunteer based, non-profit organization whose mission focus became clear after the tornados ripped through Greene County in April 2011. The goal is to restore hope when familes find themselves in crisis by providing basic household needs.
The warehouse space was made available by Marge Saulsbury, Scott & Lora Saulsbury, Carla Smith, and Jeff & Gail Monson and family
The Restoration Depot will work closely with the Greeneville-Greene County Community Ministries Office (better known as the Food Bank) as well as AID-NET.
