Music Ministries

     

Chancel Choir - The Chancel Choir sings for the 10 AM service in the sanctuary each Sunday morning.  Rehearsals are held each Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm.

 

Reflections Choir - The Reflections Choir for senior adults rehearses each Monday afternoon.  This group prepares music to sing during worship.  Additionally, they enjoy traveling to sing at nursing homes and area churches.

 

Youth Ensemble - The Youth Ensemble is made up of students in grades 6-12 who rehearse each Sunday afternoon at 4 pm.  Literature includes contemporary and traditional music, instrumental music, drama and more.

 

Children's Choir - The Chilren's Choirs rehearse each Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 pm.  Presently, two elementary choirs are active for grades K-2 and grades 3-5.  Transportation is provided from school to church.  A snack and superised "Homework Club" meets prior to rehearsal each week.

 

Handbell Choir -  Asbury's Handbell Choir rehearses each Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. 

 

Praise Team - The contemporary Praise Band provides music for the 11 am service in the Fellowship Hall each week.  The band and singers rehearse on Thursday evening at 7 pm.

 

"Faith in Motion" Liturgical Dance Troupe - Dancers rehearse each 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at noon in the Fellowship Hall.
