ACEC Purpose

             What is ACEC?

Asbury Child Enrichment Center (ACEC) serves the community as a licensed, Three-Star child care facility. Our main objective is to provide a positive Christian atmosphere which will promote the spiritual, social, physical, intellectual and emotional growth of children. Learning experiences, appropriate for the developmental age of each group, are provided daily.

The daily schedule includes large and small group interaction which helps the children learn to cooperate, listen, and share; self-selected activities which stimulate cognitive growth and creativity, as well as emotional and social development; and outdoor activities which help develop large and small gross motor skills.morning A morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack are also provided for the children.

ACEC hires quality, trained, and caring staff members. A daily report, for infants is filled out by the teachers and is available to parents at the end of the day. This report tells the parent what activities their child enjoyed, how well they ate and rested, their behavior and other information. Toddler classes have weekly information sheets and the pre-school children have monthly sheets.  These communication tools provide parents information on their child's day.  Lunch menus and classroom schedules are posted by the doorway of each class. A newsletter, prepared by the teachers, is sent home every three months informing parents of upcoming events, birthdays, the study themes that the children will be experiencing. A monthly newsletter is sent out to the parents by the Director at the beginning of each month.

ACEC is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Our telephone is 423.798.1060, please feel free to call us with any questions.
